in yathqafūkum yakūnū lakum aʿdāan wayabsuṭū ilaykum aydiyahum wa-alsinatahum bil-sūi wawaddū law takfurūn
If they gain dominance over you, they would be to you enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they desire that you would disbelieve.
If they could but overcome you, they would [still] remain your foes, and would stretch forth their hands and tongues against you with evil intent: for they desire that you [too] should deny the truth
If they have the upper hand of you, they will be your foes, and will stretch out their hands and their tongues toward you with evil (intent), and they long for you to disbelieve
If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth
If they gain the upper hand over you, they would be your ˹open˺ enemies, unleashing their hands and tongues to harm you, and wishing that you would abandon faith.
If they ever gain dominance over you, they will treat you as enemies, and they will stretch out their hands and tongues to hurt you. They would dearly wish that you renounce your faith.
If they gain ascendancy over you, they will behave towards you as enemies and stretch out their hands as well as their tongues with evil intent; they long for you to renounce your faith
If they find you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch forth towards you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they ardently desire that you may disbelieve
If they come upon you, they will be enemies against you. They extend their hands against you and their tongues with evil. And they wished that you be ungrateful.
If they should encounter you, they would act as enemies of yours and stretch out their hands as well as their tongues to injure you. They would love to make you disbelieve!
If they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies and stretch out their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they wish that you should become disbelievers.
Were they to come upon you, they would be enemies unto you and would stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you in evil. And they wish you to disbelieve

If they find an opportunity to turn against you, they will become your enemies and will stretch out their hands and tongues at you with evil intent. They would love to see you turn away from your faith
Should they have access to you, they will become your enemies, and will stretch their hands and tongues towards you with evil; and they desire that you should reject the (true) faith
If they ever overcome you, they will divide you, and smite you with their hands and tongues causing much disruption. For, they will love to see you reject the Truth. ('Idia' = Wedge = Wedge of division = Enmity = Dissension = Distance. 'Su' = Disruption = Imbalance = Evil = Inequity)
They would treat you as their enemies, if they were to gain an upper hand over you. With evil (intent) they would assault you with their hands and their tongues. They (just) love to have you disbelieve (and renounce your faith)
Should they gain an upper hand over you, they would treat you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should be disbelievers (and reject the Truth)
If they gain dominance over you, they would be to you as enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they wish you would disbelieve
If they encounter you, they treat you as enemies, and they extend their hands and tongues against you to hurt you. They desire you to disbelieve
If they gain the upper hand over you, they will revert to being your enemies and stretch out their hands and tongues to harm you; it is their dearest wish that you may renounce your faith
Should they come upon you, they will be enemies Unto you and will stretch out against you their hands and their tongues with evil; and fain would they that ye should disbelieve
If they gain ascendancy over you, they will become your enemies, and employ their hands and tongues with evil designs, and wish that you also became disbelievers
If they come upon you, they will be your enemies and stretch out their hands and tongues against you with evil intent, and they would dearly love you to become kafir.
Should they gain the upper hand over you, they will be to you as enemies (not friends), and stretch forth their hands and tongues against you with malice, and they long for you to disbelieve
If they were to confront you they would be your enemies, and would stretch out against you their hands and their tongues with evil [intentions], and they are eager that you should be faithless
If they should get the upper hand over you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch forth towards you their hands and their tongues with evil intent, and they ardently desire that you may disbelieve
If they overcome you, they become your enemies and they extend their hands and their tongues towards you with bad (intentions), and they wish that you disbelieve
If they were to gain dominance over you, they would behave as enemies to you, and lash out their hands and their tongues against you wrongfully, and they desire that you should reject the truth
If they could suppress you, they would be your bitter enemies who would stretch out their hands and tongues to destroy you, and they wish you would disbelieve.
If they could overcome you, they would act as your foes and would hurt you by their hands and tongues, and would love to see you become unbelievers
If they encounter you, they treat you as enemies, and they extend their hands and tongues against you to hurt you. They desire that you reject
If they gain an upper hand over you, they would become your [open] foes. And they would stretch their hands and their tongues against you with evil intent. And they wish you to suppress the Truth
If they get hold of you, they will be your enemies and will stretch forth their hands and their tongues towards you with evil, and they desire that you should anyhow become disbelievers.
Whenever they encounter you, they treat you as enemies, and hurt you with their hands and tongues. They want you to disbelieve.
If they come upon you, they will be your enemies, and stretch out their hands and tongues to do evil to you. They wish that you would disbelieve
If they overcome you, they will be your enemies, and will stretch forth their hands and their tongues towards you with evil, and they desire that you may disbelieve
If they defeat/overcome you they be for you enemies, and they extend/spread their hands and their tongues to you with the bad/evil/harm, and they wished/loved if you disbelieve
Know that the disbelievers are your true enemies. Their main intention is to hurt you physically and verbally. They wish to see you as disbelievers again
If they gain dominance over you they will be your enemies, and will extend their hands and their tongues towards you with evil, and they wish that in some way you turn disbelievers
If they get the upper hand of you, they will be your active enemies, and will stretch forth their hands and their tongues towards you to do you harm; and they ardently desire that you should become disbelievers
Should they get the better of you, then (you will see that) they will be your open enemies. And they will extend their hands and tongues to you with evil design and will have the earnest desire that you disbelieve (somehow)
If they (- your so-called friends from the disbelievers) somehow get the upper hand of you they will (turn out to) be active enemies to you and will lay their hand on you and (lash you with) their tongues to do (you) harm, and they ardently desire that you should disbelieve
Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil, and they desire that you should disbelieve
If they come on you, they will be enemies to you, and stretch against you their hands and their tongues, to do you evil, and they wish that you may disbelieve
If they get the better of you, they will be enemies unto you, and they will stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil: And they earnestly desire that ye should become unbelievers
If they find you they will be enemies to you, and they will stretch forth against you their hands and their tongues for evil, and would fain that ye should disbelieve
If they meet with you they will prove your foes: hand and tongue will they put forth for your hurt, and will desire that you become infidels again
If they gain ascendancy over you, they will prove themselves your enemies, and stretch out their hands and tongues to you with evil. They long to see you unbelievers
If they were to overcome you, they would behave to you as enemies. [They would] use their hands and tongues against you for evil. They want you to disbelieve.
If they should encounter you, they would act as enemies of yours and stretch out their hands as well as their tongues to injure you. They would love to make you disbelieve!
If they gain dominance over you they will become enemies to you. They will extend their hands and tongues (speech) to you with bad intent and they will ardently long for you to deny the knowledge of the reality.
If they dominate you, they will be your enemies, and they will stretch towards you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they like that you (too should) reject (the truth).
Had they been in a position to get the better of you, they would not have hesitated to gain advantage on you and declare their enmity by the valour of their hands and by scorning at you and by casting all the contempts they could cast. They would call you everything they can lay their tongues to, and they wish you would desert Faith in favour of disbelief
If they were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you for evil: and they desire that ye should reject the Truth
If they gain dominance over you, they would be to you enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they desire that you would disbelieve
